HOW TO JOIN THE ASSOCIATION


A prospective new member may join the Association at any time by returning a completed membership application along with the appropriate fee to the Association's mail address or to any member of the Advisory Committee.:

The membership fee of $58.00 is applicable year round and includes the new member's USGA Handicap service for the current year.

There is an application form reproduced at the bottom of this page for your "print and cut" use or you can obtain one at the golf course or from any member of the advisory Committee.

HOW TO BEGIN PLAYING

Our Association plays at Chattahoochee Golf Course every Wednesday morning. Each competitor pays his own greens fee AND a $10 entry fee for that day. The combined entry fees for each day make up the prizes for best performances and closest to the pin competition.

The pro shop generates the scorecards for the weekly games. Because of this, we need to know BEFORE tee time on Wednesday who will be taking part in order to make the most accurate pairings. There is a clipboard in the pro shop with a CMGA weekly sign-up sheet. Simply write your name and tee box preference on the sheet before 4:00 p.m. on Tuesday or call the pro shop and ask that your name be entered for the competition. Then, be at the golf course as early as you need to be (for registration, practice range, putting range, etc) before our 8:30 a.m. (warm weather months) or 10:30 a.m. (cool weather months) shotgun start.

If, however, you should forget to sign up and wish to play anyway, come on out on Wednesday morning. We try and very rarely fail to work anyone in who is on hand. By the same token, if you are somehow prevented from playing AFTER you have signed up for a match, please contact the pro shop by phone as early as possible BEFORE the Wednesday morning start time to facilitate any adjustments required by your absence.
